The VASG (and DASC) has no power to advertise anything. We have already let
it be know that the expectation for incoporation of the 2000 Edition changes
are that companies will make them part of their VHDL 2000 (now 2001 or
2002). However, we cannot control this. I was simply informing members of
the WG that the IEEE did publish it.

To the extent that we can "advertise" anything, I suggest we publicize the
200[1 | 2] revision that we are trying to finalize via a press release which
would probably need to be done via Accellera. We can do this after RevCom
approval.

I think you misunderstood. I had sent to the IEEE in June an updated LRM
draft for re-circulation (incorporating ballot comments). Their editorial
review required a couple of changes prior to the recirc being performed. We
need to do the recirc. We did not anticipate that we would need to respin
the recirc draft LRM before the IEEE would send it out. I was only updating
people on why they had not seen the recirc yet.
