DDR2 Thresholds ----- Randy Wolff presented his latest BIRD revisions The D_overshoot_amplitude_h subparameter will be measured as above power clamp reference. Below gnd clamp excursions will be positive in amplitude as well. Ian noted that several companies internally use "overshoot" for all voltage excursions. Do not use the term undershoot; use ringback for false switching. Randy will make a few minor adjustments and send out the BIRD for industry consideration. IBIS 4.2 ----- Bob summarized the latest changes to the IBIS 4.2 WIP document. At this point, all minor editorial changes have been made, with those requiring BIRDS deferred until 5.0 or later. Bob noted that the one technical issue needed in 4.2 but not under a BIRD was the erroneous "per unit length" notation for packages and EBD. Arpad Muranyi requested a single list of changes for tracking purposes. Bob will provide one. Upcoming Topics ----- - re-architecting IBIS 5.0 - ICM-IBIS links - new Cookbook revisions/release ARs ----- Bob Ross - contact Samtec regarding web site mentions of ICM support Michael Mirmak - confirm with Lance that the models web page will be updated with relevant ICM model references - DONE Michael Mirmak - fix, with a few words, the EBD comment issue Lynne Green - update change proposals for Cookbook Michael Mirmak - check name limit extension parser scoping John Angulo - check analog-only parser scoping Bob Ross - collate 4.2 changes into a single tracking checklist
